The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Plexi GPX combines style with performance and extensive digital RGB lighting. The experience of over 16 years has flowed into this graphics card water cooler and represents the current high point of Alphacool product development.

More performance!
When developing the Eisblock Aurora GPX graphics card water cooler, emphasis was naturally placed on increasing performance. In the first step, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. In the second step, the nickel-plated copper block was also made thinner. Instead of the previous 7 mm, it is only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow within the cooler has also been optimized. All important components such as the voltage converter and the RAM are now cooled significantly better and more effectively by the water. All of this ensures a significant increase in cooling performance.

New design!
The ice block Aurora GPX cooler was basically built so that the lighting is more in the foreground than with the previous models. The addressable digital RGB LEDs are embedded in the cooling block and run along the entire cooling block. The effect is lighting that includes the entire cooling block. No corner or edge remains unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular, with all edges beveled. The result is better light scattering in the water cooler due to the reflections on these slopes. They also create various contours that give the Eisblock Aurora GPX cooler its very own visual note.

Copper or aluminum?
Alphacool naturally only uses copper in its water coolers. The copper of the Aurora GPX ice block is nickel-plated. Compared to the previous models, Alphacool has further improved the type of nickel plating, which has significantly increased the acid resistance. This is intended to prevent flaking nickel plating. And why is Alphacool using copper instead of aluminum? Copper simply has a thermal conductivity almost twice as high as aluminum and is therefore clearly the better material for water cooling.

Are they all new?
The Eisblock Aurora GPX water cooler graphics card also uses the new patented locking screws, which are flush with the surface of the terminal. The Alphacool logo is now in the corner on the top and is also fully illuminated. On the front of the terminal you can see the corresponding names of the compatible graphics card types. Of course, these are also fully illuminated by the digital LEDs. IN and OUT are now identified by small, discreet triangles. They are clearly recognizable and fit perfectly into the entire optical line of the graphics card water cooler.

The Alphacool Aurora GPX Plexi is a complete further development of the previous Alphacool graphics card water cooler in every respect. No technical compromises were made, but the entire technical know-how was incorporated into the development and implementation.

Die neue Generation der Alphacool-GPU-Kühler ist da! Der Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Plexi GPX verbindet herausragende Performance mit atemberaubender Optik. Was hat sich geändert? Hier macht sich Alphacool‘s 16-jährige Erfahrung bezahlt! Die bereits ohnehin schon leistungsstarken Eisblöcke wurden noch weiter optimiert: Die neue Optik, dünnere Wärmeleitpads (1mm), ein dünnerer Kupferblock (5,5mm) und ein deutlich verbesserter Durchfluss sind hier wohl die gewichtigsten Änderungen. Und das Design? Alphacool stellt die Beleuchtung dieses Mal deutlich mehr in den Vordergrund! Entlang des gesamten Kühlblocks befinden sich adressierbare digitale RGB LEDs, damit auch keine Ecke deines Gehäuses im Dunkeln bleibt. Das im Vergleich zu seinen Vorgängern kantigere Design verstärkt diesen Effekt nochmals. Was noch? Beim Material werden nach wie vor keine Kompromisse eingegangen: 100% Kupfer. Lediglich bei der Vernickelung des Kühlers wurden weitere Optimierungen vorgenommen, welche die Säureresistenz erhöhen, und damit die Gefahr von abplatzenden Vernickelungen beinahe gänzlich ausschließen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Verwendung der patentierten Alphacool Verschlussschrauben: Diese schließen bündig mit der Oberfläche des Kühlers ab und bilden so eine ebene Fläche. Keine lästigen herausstehenden Verschlüsse mehr! Zum Schluss wurde noch die Beschriftung des Eisblocks angepasst. Sie ist nun deutlich dezenter und fügt sich so perfekt in das bereits elegante Erscheinungsbild ein. Mit diesem Produkt hat Alphacool wieder einmal technisches Know-How bewiesen!
